REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

All refunds are determined by the individual carrier and policy type. Joyce Insurance Agency Inc is NOT responsible for refunds. Most personal lines carriers will issue refunds within 45 days directly to the insured. Insurance carriers may short rate the policy. Please see policy for specific information. Commercial lines carriers may take a minimum of 60 days to issue a refund. Refunds are subject to minimum earned premium provision of the individual policies. Refunds on Excess Lines policy will be issued after 30 days of the wholesale agent receiving the refund from the carrier Excess lines insurance policy refunds MUST be reviewed and tax stamps issued by Excess Lines Association of New York (ELANY). ELANY's processing time may take up to 90 days. Any refunds received by Joyce Insurance Agency from the carrier or wholesale agent will be issued by Joyce Agency after 30 days
